Drawn from The Tapestry Hangings of the House of Lords representing the several Engagements between the English and Spanish Fleets in the ever memorable year MDLXXXVIII, issued by John Pine in 1739. Engravings after the original series of charts drafted by Robert Adams in 1588, at the actual time of the sea battles between the English and the Spanish Armada. Each series of three prints includes two birds-eye views of the ships engaging, while the third print consists of two naval charts of the depicted battles. All of the engravings also have a virtual engraved frame depicting the various admirals of the English fleet.
